19th October 2002 - CHARITY NIGHT 2002

The 2002 Charity Night was a huge success, helping towards the grand total of £968 for the Oxford Blackbirds Boys Football Club. Entertainment on the evening included disco and shows fro A. Pratt & Co.

9th October 2002 - NEW DIARY OF ENTERTAINMENTS FOR WINTER

The latest list of entertainment to be provided during the Winter from October to December 2002 is now available on the Entertainments webpages. The lineup includes Alternative Race Night, Target Bowls, Quiz Night, Call My Bluff & Charity Night. This is on top of the regular Bingo nights & Christmas / New Years activities.

 8th October 2002 - COUNTY SHORTMAT  2002-2003 SEASON BEGINS

The 2002-2003 County Shortmat season began the last week in September for both of the two teams entered by Blackbird Leys. For the 'A' Side - the aim is to retain the title won last season. For the 'B' side - the aim is to take it away from the 'A' side.
