DAY OUT AT CAMBRIDGE PARK
The bi-annual coach trip to Cambridge Park was
an enjoyable day out for all. Setting off from Blackbird Leys at midday,
the coach arrived in Richmond just before 2pm. The bar was opened
instantly (they learnt from the last trip!), and both sets of bowlers
enjoyed a good afternoons competitive bowling (well almost). One rink
even wore specially made tops - With BLACKBIRDS
DRINK RINK on the front, and the position
of each bowler on the back. In the end, the 'DRINK
RINK' were the only winners for Blackbird
Leys - maybe it was the tops!
The day was finished off with entertainment from a solo artist, with
singing and dancing for all.
